If you're more of a DIYer, there's some information below to help you.

Here are the steps to start when tiling a bathroom floor:

1. Prepare the surface: Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, and level. Remove any existing flooring and repair any cracks or damage.

2. Measure and plan: Measure the dimensions of the bathroom floor to determine the amount of tiles needed. Plan the layout from the center of the room to achieve a balanced and symmetrical look.

3. Gather materials and tools: Purchase the required tiles, tile adhesive, grout, spacers, a notched trowel, a tile cutter, a grout float, and a sponge. Ensure you have safety equipment like goggles and gloves.

4. Start from the center: Find the room's center point by measuring and marking the midpoints of each wall. Snap chalk lines to create a crosshair at the center. These lines will mark your starting point.

5. Apply adhesive: Spread tile adhesive on a small section of the floor using a notched trowel. Start at the center and work towards the edges, applying adhesive in small sections.

6. Lay the tiles: Place the first tile at the intersection of the chalk lines. Press it firmly into the adhesive and wiggle it slightly to ensure good adhesion. Continue laying tiles, using tile spacers to maintain consistent gaps between them.

7. Cut tiles if needed: Measure and mark any tiles that need cutting to fit along the edges or around fixtures. Use a tile cutter to make the necessary cuts.

8. Grout the tiles: After the adhesive has dried completely, remove the tile spacers and mix the grout according to the manufacturer's instructions. Use a grout float to apply the grout, filling all the gaps between the tiles.

9. Clean and finish: Once the grout fully sets, which is after a few minutes, use a damp sponge to wipe away excess grout from the tile surfaces. Rinse the sponge frequently and continue until the tiles are clean. Allow the grout to cure as per the manufacturer's instructions.

10. Apply sealant (optional): If desired, apply a grout sealer to protect the grout from staining and moisture. Remember to always follow the specific instructions provided by the tile manufacturer and use proper safety precautions while working with tools and materials.
